The configuration of the boot loader is standardized for all appliances. We take care for of  the correct configuration during the delivery of the appliance.
In general there is no need to change the BIOS settings when running the appliance.
To ensure your appliances BIOS settings are set to the values we expect, we add a password protection to the BIOS of the appliance.

The password of the iDrac is random and can be configured in the Webconf:
