In Checkmk, SSD temperature sensors' default upper threshold values are set at 35°C and 40°C, respectively. However, it might be necessary to modify these values to match the specifications provided by the manufacturer.

Problem

If you receive notifications regarding critical SSD temperatures, it's important to note that the Checkmk software utilizes standard threshold values of 0-40°C when the disks do not provide specific thresholds. However, these values may not align with the manufacturer's specifications. Therefore, it is recommended to adjust the temperature thresholds in Checkmk to match the specifications provided by the manufacturer for accurate monitoring and alerting.
