This error occurs when attempting to add a host using only the hostname without providing the necessary IP information, especially if the parent folder has a Management Board configured.

To correct this, an An IP address needs to must be added to the host properties to correct this.
- Go to Setup → > Host → > Edit the properties of the host having issues.
- Place an a [X] next to the IPv4 Address section.
- Enter the missing IP into the text field
- Save and try to activate changes again.
