The bootloader password is not the setup password! Due to security and support concerns we do not provide the bootloader password.

The password of the iDrac is random and can be configured in the Webconf:

There are two ways to reset the password

  • If the remote console is available via iDrac, we as tribe29 can do a remote session with you and reset the password
  • The second way:
    • take out both hard drives
    • format both drives (e.g. NTFS)
    • attach both hard drives
    • start the appliance
    • The appliance will be reinitialized and back to the delivered state
