How to upload a license report

You need to submit a license report regularly to check if you have exceeded the number of purchased services. Here you can find the instruction on how to do this.

Step-by-step guide

 

  1. Login to the Checkmk Customer Portal with your account
    .

  2. Navigate to "My Licenses" and click your license number next to Checkmk. The license number should start with CMK.
    .

  3. In the license view, you must initially generate a password: Click on "Generate Licensing Credentials" to set up a password.




    A pop-up should generate with both a license ID and a password. Make sure you copy the ID and password somewhere safe.



  4.  Then click on "Upload" under Licensing Information Upload
    .

  5. A pop-up appears where you have to enter the previously generated password
    .

  6. Select the license audit via "Choose File"

  7. Click "Upload", the license audit is now submitted.
